Addition · Case study
Leawood, KS
A 520-sq-ft primary-suite addition — bedroom, spa bath, and walk-in closet — tied into the existing roofline so it looks original to the house.
Before / after shown as placeholder blocks for this demonstration build — a client swaps these for real project photos. The gallery structure (fixed dimensions, native lazy-load, no JS) stays the same.
The scope
This family loved their Leawood neighborhood but had outgrown a small primary bedroom. We designed and built a 520-square-foot addition off the back of the home: a light-filled primary bedroom, a spa bath, and a proper walk-in closet. The hard part is the tie-in — new foundation, structure, and roof matched to the existing house so it reads as original, not bolted-on. Exterior brick, trim, and roofline all match; from the street you can’t tell where the old house ends and the new one begins.
